Just shy of 12k and the only thing was the rear diff leak. Took the dealership 3 times to get it right. It started leaking at 1600 miles and I havent had any issues since. Well there was the CV boot that I just had replaced

I have an '03 MSG vert with MN6, F55, and all the goodies. It's a daily driver for my 140 mile round trip to work so I have 26K on it now. I have had nothing but problems with it since I bought it.

Here is the list:

1) At over 60 MPH, my hair gets blown all around with the top down.

2) Sore cheek muscles as I do not normally grin this much.

3) Frustration with constantly changing between Tour and Sport on the F55....just can't make up my mind.

4) Embarrassment with all these people looking at my car. Especially all the attention from the ladies....I'M A MARRIED MAN!

5) Gas mileage decreases drastically and tires wear out just because I decide to have a little fun.

Annd finally....

6) I can't keep those damn ricers from swarming around me like bees.

To date, the dealer has not been able to fix a single one of them. So buyer beware, purchase at your own risk.

I just had the rear seal fixed on my 99 2 weeks ago. It cost $238 and was paid for by warrantydirect.

'04 Coupe, MN6, 11000 miles.

Great reliable vehicle, daily driver, no problems. Absulutely hate the run flats. Had to replace the Bose system to Alpine head, XM, after market speakers and separate amp. and subwoofer.

How ya doing Darth? Still procrastinating, I see?

Tell you what bro, I had a 96 A4 LT1 that I put 84,000 trouble free miles on, and I've now got an '04 A4 LS1 that I bought new in July that now has 7300 trouble free miles.

My only regret is holding out from getting a C5 as long as I did. To think that I COULD'VE been enjoying this fine sports car all the time that I was procrastinating about it.

Go for it Darth, you'll never look back.

Default C5 Problems

took my car to chevy dealer. electric steering column not working, easy entry/exit not working. defective seat module.

front brakes pulsing-dealer says bent rim $500.00 ??dunno

r/s 50 ae fender emblem cracked dealer has to call gm and ask if it should be a warrantable repair (emblem 80.00)

dealer washed car and i noticed scratch on r/s fender. dealer says they will fix car when i return to have rim and emblem replaced?wtf

i say fix it now or car wont ever be back-they say ok and buff out scratch.
other wise 2003 50 ae coupe 6857 trouble free miles

love the c5 but this creampuff treatment gets old sometimes.
cant stop worrying about the car when i take it out anywhere.

Is this your first Performance/Hot Rod type car???? It's how it is with a car like this. Damn... my neighbor the other day said "it's too bad some children don't get treated as well as your car." Yep, it's too bad.

Oh.... avoid the dealer whenever possible and don't take your Vette anywhere you'll worry about it.
