Happy Birthday Kev
My birthday is tomorrow (6/17), 56 big ones for me. I never make a big deal of it but my beautiful wife always does. She's just one of many Blessings God has bestowed upon me. I grew up in a poor & dangerous area of Chicago, wore hand-me-down clothes, had very little, but the difference was I had a God fearing wonderful Mother that worked very hard to raise me right, now living in sunny California, 2 vettes, great job, good kids and a wonderful, wonderful wife. I'm very thankful EVERYDAY for every moment of life and ALL the Blessings from above.
Glad you took your Vette ride for the Big 50! Now my Words of Wisdom....Never Regret Growing Older, It Is A Privilige Denied To Many!! May you enjoy another 50 years and all the rest of us live to see it!! Oh YEA, Nobody ever said on their deathbed, "Gee, I sure wish I had spent more time at the office!" Take that car out and drive it, hug those loved ones and do all those things you think about doing but haven't gotten around to.
Dear Love My Car. Today June 16 is my birthday as well. I could not have said it any better. Hope you have a great birthday and many more to come. Brian "God-Speed"

Well its here june 16th. Im going to take the car on a nice ride this morning no work today.Ill be smiling,i always am when i get in her.Ive been very lucky to make it this far,as more than a few of the people that i went to high school are no longer with us.I get ribbed about when i got my car that i was going thru a mid life thing, who knows ,whats the big deal,if i am so be it.The fact that i can afford the greatest american sports car ever made, and live in the greatest place on earth,is to me a blessing. My best freind was just told he has cancer ive been hanging with him hes going thru cemo it sucks.Another guy i know was just killed on a cycle,as he was stoped, making a turn,he was hit from behind by a truck and he was only28,This life we are in one never knows when it will end.One thing for sure is to live every day like its your last.Heres to all my forum buddies, hoping you all get to drive your car TODAY,hug your children, make peace with someone that you are having a silly problem with LIVE TODAY.God bless all of our troops for making me be able to take my car for a ride in the greatest place in the world.............. Kevin
Thanks for putting things we all take for granted into perspective. All of us are guilty of not enjoying what we are blessed to have and share. My youngest daughter asked me what I wanted for fathers day... I told her I wanted her to go with me to a car show yesterday, she did and we had a great time. Some things just can't be bought or stole, and memories can never be taken away from us. ENJOY what you have!
