125 with the top down and it was nice until I looked in my rear view and I saw two young kids in a maxima on my tail thinking it was was a joke until I gave them a piece of my mind, it is amazing how people track you down and want to pass, in mini vans!!!

147mph in my TA and it was dead solid still had 5th gear to use-well kinda hard in hawaii
177mph on my highly modded ZX9R and it was smooth and effortless- to high of gearing

My FRC has been to the far side of 170mph, and it is rock solid stable up there. (The 'Clone should trap nearly as fast in just a quarter mile, but "stable" isn't an accurate term for the truckster.)
183mph on a closed straight 8 mile road near my home. We got consent from the local police department to do so.... All is good until you look down at the speedometer, then you get scared. Never again though
my 100% Stock 2002 C5 A4 (3.15:1) reaches up to 184mph, however it really takes a lot of open road to reach these kinds of speed (~12mls). Up to ~160mph acceleration is relatively O.K., beyond this it's very, very slow.
If interested, you can watch the attached video. It shows a highspeed-run up to 174mph (GPS measured). The first line in the display is the GPS-velocity displayed as km/h. 1mph = 1,609km/h (I edited the video to show important mph-marks as well (120/140/160/170 mph).
This video was generated on a German Autobahn (so it was perfectly legal).
