I have had mine around 165 and it felt fine,but the only time I was ever scared in a car was in my brothers 96 lt4 c4.He had the thing pinned in 5th going down lakeshore and the hydro poles were going by like a picket fence and we were kind of floating and not feeling stable.I thought I was going to die(no joke).He's f----ing crazy.The things we used to do when we were younger.......

Man.... majority of you guys need to chill with the whole, "We obay everthing on this site, and we "DON'T" speed" crap. I want to know the top speed too. I mean that doesn't mean I'm gonna try it someday... jeez... it's 172 mph isn't it?

Some where between 170-180, but I was coming in to a left 90 degree turn, so I was more interested in timing the brakes than watching the speedo.
Not too sure the car's top end. Running ~500 RWHP & 525 RWTQ, A4, 3.42 rear.

I once did 144mph on highway 1 north of SLO in Cali. I was young and dumb...too old to do that stuff on open roads now. I'm doing a Richard Petty Racing experience in March that I hear will allow me to go 170 around Las Vegas Speedway.
