[Z06] im out
Call me skeptical!

BTW...you can call the Z06 a lot of things, but boat isn't one of them!
I'm not trying to be a smart***, but did you ever really put the Z through it's paces? When the Evo can put down lateral acceleration and other handling numbers anywhere near the Z then you might have something to say, but I'm not gonna hold my breath!
ill say it again- i dont think the evo out preforms the z- im buying it for a daily driver, and ill have alot more fun in it than i did in the z-period.

i will have more fun in the evo- thats how i feel about it-i love the vette but i need a daily driver.and i do expect some critism-but im not gonna lay down and take it.just like your imature comment -the evo is a fourdoor grocery getter? more like an awd rally killer! and im with you on the buying a new car every year -i am a sports car freak ,im sorry i called the z a boat in my first post-i could have chose a better description.

It's his money, it's his opinion and it's his choice...just like the choice we had when we bought our cars, damn, let it go kids!
666, c'ya, enjoy your car
They get up and go - if was to pick id rather have the STI but both cars are values for the money - just like the Vette is a value compared to the Porsche Turbo and Dodge Viper.
But now im sick of the imports and want a ZO6
I join you in honoring your father, without whose sacrifice, we might all be driving Japanese cars.
My best friend's father is buried on Luzon. And, probably like you, he never knew him, or had a father to lean on.
You both suffered the effects of REAL sacrifice.
I was going to let this go. I will never change 666's mind. It is a loser to argue with losers.
But, I am a stuborn and obstinate bastard when it comes to principles.
Among many young people nowdays, it seems quite popular to denigrate, or, at the best, ignore,
the hundreds of thousands of people who sacrificed their lives so they can say anything they want, and drive anything they want.
I think that says quite a lot about such people.
Notice, I did not bad-mouth 666's choice, or his right to make that choice.
I just made my views on history (including family) known, and how they influence MY CHOICES.
I don't know 666. I really would like to know 666. And, what has shaped his pyche.
666's responses have consistently bad-mouthed me about WWII, such as
"hahahahahaha you guys are still talkin about world war 2-hahhaaa"
and the last being
"im not diggin on the z- one of them is- the whole negetive stigma that goes along with owning one- like the ww2 comment".
provide classic insight into his soul. Unfortunately.
666 gets to enjoy the benefits bought with other people's blood.
While he spits on their graves. Nice guy.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I think that you are nothing but a -ucking Troll now move along and quit slamming the people that made it possible for you to do the things that you do
BTW; I thought that you were out, why don't you leave you -ucking a$$hole
and maybe some of you others that are embrassed by us Corvette owners should follow him
:Remember to wave to us.

As for the Evo, if I could get one as a daily driver and keep my Z06, I would. I did need to get a daily driver, but I opted for an 86 Monte Carlo SS.
Last of the "Muscle Cars" with its anemic 180hp.
Won't be long and I will be looking for another daily driver if I keep upping the performance of the SS. Having a racing 200R4 tranny put in right now.
Then...it is on to getting rid of the 305. Good luck again with your Evo...I have seen some of them here in South Florida that are VERY sweet!!!

im not slammin anyone-in fact im being slammed for defending my right to buy an evo as a daily driver-BIG DEAL!and im not sayin anything against anyone.the ww2 thing just amazed me..ive been travelling all around the world for the past 17years, and that is the type of "angry american"comment that the rest of the world associates americans with.
and that aint me.
. . .
1. You DID slam me. See below.
2. I did not slam your choice. I said:
That's OK with me. Good Luck.
<< skip, skip >>
But, I have no problem with people buying what they think is the best.
Just as long as it really is "the best", and not ad or neighbor bs.
and that aint me.

And, how it affected my choice of car makes.
I have NO problem with the current Japanese culture. Or people who buy their cars.
I am not an "Angry American".
So, once again you manage to disprove your statement with the very next run-on sentence.
Elementary Logic 101 is usually taught in the Math Department, even down at the Community College Level.
You might want to consider giving it a try, just for grins.
I do have a BIG problem with the way the entire population of Japan went along with the military dictatorship
which caused a LOT of trouble from the Sino-Russian war of 1904 to the end of WWII.
And caused pain and suffering to millions of people in Asia.
If THAT makes me an "Angry American", I'll just have to plead "GUILTY".
I'm glad you've been able to see the world, and see it through the eyes of others, and see the faults of the U.S.A.
We have a considerable number of warts, accumulated over the years, and they still continue to accumulate.
So, sit around some foreigners' campfires and sing "Kumbaya" for me, eh ?
Let's all the world just get along, and quit killing "the others".
Or, at least we should let them kill us without causing them a lot of trouble.
And, many thanks for occupying my mind with trivia.
Sure beats crying over my Father's passing.
And, now I'll get just a wee little bit snarky.
What in the world possessed you to choose the "smiley saluting the American flag" icon ?
and that aint me.

Hey RICER BOY Your being slammed for signing up for a name on this board so that you could start some $hit about a grocery getting ricemobile. If you want "out" then get the he!! out already. Yet you still hang around and try to stir the pot. Im with Scott04Z that I think your just a little snot nosed punk 16 year old who is using mommy and daddy's money to try and act like a big guy around here. I am worried what the kids in this country are going to do when the Saddam's and Bin Laden's of the world come knocking, after you slam WW2 and other vets.
Remember "Kum-bai-ya" little grasshopper when your getting your a$$ kicked by that nasty V-8 now and Bin laden later.
.....
I lost my Father ten years ago. There's not a day goes by I don't remember him and miss him. He served in the Pacific and was with the first ships into Nagasaki after the bomb. Your Father and mine, and many of the Fathers of members of this forum, kept America free
.God bless you and your family and give you comfort through this difficult time

But, questions remain, and inquiring minds want to know.
". . . ive paid my own way-so dont assume that you know me cause you dont f$#khole . . ."
1. How did you pay your own way ?
Certainly not in a job requiring proper punctuation, sentence structure, or grammar.
(grammar: see http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=grammar for your edification).
On the other hand, I have a great deal of respect for men (and women) who make it in life
through "sweat equity". When young, I learned valuable lessons from working with such folks.
". . . i embrace freedom and i apriciate it more than you could ever know.punk . . ."
2. Would you mind filling us sad punks in with a fact or two pertinent to this alleged statement ?
And, maybe, just maybe, Oh Dear Lord, just maybe it could possibly help to prove your point ?
3. To even further further your education, you might consider contemplating the following:
Introduction to Ad Hominem Fallacies
One of the most common non-rational appeals is an argumentum ad hominem--or,
as the Latin phrase suggests, an "argument against the person" (and not against the ideas he or she is presenting).
If you haven't figured it out by now,
let me make it "clear, CRYSTAL CLEAR".
(Sorry, with abject apologies to Jack N. in "A Few Good Men").
I'm actually doing real computer work, and I just check in here every so often,
just for a bit of mental relaxation and refreshment from intense, but productive endeavors.
The objective is to string you along for my own edification and amusement.
I'm VERY interested in seeing how long you can try and play with the big boys.
Otherwise I wouldn't bother.
