don't do it... relax that happens to us all...but I still get quite a few waves..not everyone is as in to it as we are here

The weather has just turned nice. It was probably the first weekend out for all those Corvette drivers... They were so excited and the permagrin clouded their cognitive capabilities.......

Funny you should mention this. I almost started the same thread after getting shunned by both a C5 and a C4 at the same intersection this weekend. Two of us were waiting to turn left. Both the other 'Vettes were on the crossing street. I waved at both and neither one returned the gesture as we sat out the light.
I began to question my resolve to wave, and always end up looking like a horse's ***. But then I thought better of it, and decided I'd rather keep on, and just let them feel like turds for not returning the favor.
Just the same though, I've decided that when I'm traveling with the wife, I'm going to wait for the other guy to wave first. I don't want to be embarrassed in front of her for the sake of preserving a tradition that seems to be dying out.
I seem to get waves about 30-40% of the time. They make continuing the effort worth it.

Some people simply don't know about the wave. Imagine how silly they are gonna feel when they learn about it and think back to all the people they snubbed.
It should make you feel good to wave. So just do it and stop all this fussin.
