In regards to Patricks Post ....... what a joke the guy can't even read.

If he read my posts he would have known that it was not his clips that I broke, it was my own. The visors he sold came with one broken clip and one visor without a clip at all. I did not call him until I found out that I could not get the clips. If he is a seller of these items he should have known I couldn't get clips seprately. It wasn't until after searching and investigating this that I called his father. I did try to get the clips so I could use the visors that he sold me.

When I spoke to his father, I did not ask for my money back! I just asked for him to replace the visors with correct ones or just send me the clips that should have been attached. I was not trying to be difficult and did realize that I had let time laps but it wasn't an urgent situtation. His father was very nasty from Jump and yes I did ask him If he wanted a satisfied customer or bad publicity about him online only after he treated me ( the paying customer) like I was a thief.

I was not trying to beat anyone. I paid good money for visors that are useless. I wish I hadn't trusted in this company. I should have made him email me photos prior to buying these visors, then the solid proof would be in the pictures. Bottom line the visors did not come with clips and it really does not matter who here believes this.
I just suggest that anyone buying from Just Corvettes or anywhere else for that matter, make sure you see what you are getting before you pay. This has been nothing but a headache. Thanks to some great people here on the forum I was able to get what I needed to use the visors they sold me. I only expected that to be from Just Corvettes. I should not have had to search all over to make parts I bought from them be useable.

Regardless of what they say happened Their company has ZERO level of customer service.

OK It's almost 8:00....there have been over 1700 views of this thread...and not one member as far as I can see has come to your defense Patrick...not a good sign if you ask me.

I don't understand the logic of your restuarant analogy either. Whenever I go out to eat, 2 sides of vegetables come with dinner. Perhaps the rest of the country's restuarants are different and that's not included, but here in PA it is. So that's a lame defense if you ask me.

Bottom line is this. Reagarding this thread there are a number of unhappy customers and no one coming to your defense. Even one of your former employees speaks negatively of your business. Time for your company to look in the mirror and do an honest evaluation. Geez, you might improve customer service and even make more money

So if the deal was so terrible why did you accept the item the next day? Sounds like you were satisfied enough to take the item for what you paid.

Also, I still stand behind everything being sold seperatly.....there is nothing unreasonable about it...I guess I should have given you the whole parts car that the hinges were originally attached to...maybe thats why you got a trailer to transport a decklid...lol

I also have no problem with accusing Jim Crowley with libel.

Unreal!!!

As you stated, he did a great amount of driving, so he cut his losses and took the unsatisfactory item as delivered. But, a very big but, you offered the bare minimum of (dis) service by taking advantage of his plight, of having to rent a trailer and do all of the travelling with the expenses he incurred. There are too many stand up people in this business for marginal people like you to survive. You may have thrived in the 80's before the internet and eBay, but now you are doing a great job shooting yourself in the foot on a very influential site as this. Already, I have made purchasing decisions solely based on what I learned here...

Good luck, you are going to need it!

Looks to me like everyone has had their say I'll let the readers decide for themselves who they want to do business with.

pretty interesting post. I just want to chime in that it is most always customer service, over all else, that will guarantee my return to a business.

How in the heck did we get from Corvette parts to eating in a restaurant?? In your original reponse you asked a legitimate question re CC. He has apparently, properly responded and several other customers have cited problems they have had in dealing with "JC". It appears you continue to point the problems back to the customer's inability to read minds or "make the right deal". Somehow it's hard to believe they are all wrong and you're golden.

Just my opinion but, it sounds like somethings going to h*ll in a goatcart. I have no axe to grind. I just hate to see, what could be a booming local resource, possibly sink themselves.

This is the Corvette Forum, where anything is possible.

Have usually found there are 2 sides to every story and the truth is usually somewhere in the middle (unless of course, one of those sides is mine in which case the truth stands with me).

Vote w/ your feet.

Interesting thread

As has been said, always two sides to a story but I think I see the attitude CC is talking about

Good enough for me
