Yes, that is just not cool at all. That's a "brushed" finish for sure. Pictures on tire rack don't look like that, so I wonder what the deal is?
I have a set on order and if mine show up like that they will not make it on the car.

Its unlikely this is going to bounce back to me..
If this is how they did them, we certainly would have heard of it before..
I'm going to chalk it up to just a sub par polish job, since no other SSR GT3 owner had chimed in in the past 2 yrs about the lips.
However, I AM going to DEMAND that the warehouse personel inspect each rim to insure that the finish is not like what was sent to me..
I have spoken & sent the pics to customer service & the salesman, and he told me they have sets on display that are no way remotely close to what I got, so my fingers are crossed that I will have a good finished product by next week sometime..
Maybe this set slipped through or was returned by someone else, but its not a very good feeling spending $4300.00 + & getting rims with lips that look like that..
What did they think I was gonna pay all that money for rims & NOT look at them???

I would have to agree that is a sub-par finish.
It literally looks like they missed the polishing stage altogether....terrible

Oddly, tirerack claims to have exclusive import rights, but there are others selling direct as well.
I sure hope mine look better, thanks for those pics EL, I forwarded this post to my supplier and told them to keep them if they look like this.
