Update:

I was able to negotiate an acceptable adjustment & now
I am sending them to Wheel Collision where they will re-polish the lips & re-clear them..

I am excited at seeing how great they will look with lips that truely have a high mirror polish along the likes of HRE's & CCW's polished aluminum wheels... No more lines, no swirls, no brushed appearence.

Will post before/after pics in 10-14 days!

That's great news. I'm glad it looks like you will get the resolution that you wanted. I'm looking forward to the pictures of the newly polished lips.

Hey YO-EL,
I am assuming that you checked with wheel collision and asked them if they had ever worked on stainless wheels before? I know most wheel repair places have never even SEEN stainless wheels.

Another misnomer....
I have confirmed that the lips on the SSR rims are ALUMINUM.
