Default How does everyone run their HUD?

I've been running my completely off, I'm not very impressed, there really isnt any difference between having to look down at it and focus on it, then there is just looking down at the speedo, or fuel guage or whatever. Maybe I I just need to do something different, my main gripe is that it wont go high enough, I'm fairly tall, so I have to look down almost as much as I would to look at the guages.

thanks

I'm short at 5'6" and use my HUD all the time. I love it. Haven't looked at the gauges on the instrument cluster since owning the car. I actually hate driving all of my other cars without it. I don't think HUD's are gimmicks at all, now that I've used this one. I wish they were made standard on all cars.

MPH only most times, but add in the Fuel or Water Temp on longer trips.

Most of the time I don't notice it during the daytime since it is not very bright....
At night it is very useful.

"How does everyone run their HUD?"

Turned off. Don't like seeing both digital and analog at the same time.

Usually just the MPH. It's a very good reminder to keep it under ticket speed.

I always use mine with the Speedo and Fuel gauge. It's set just below eye level and I don't have to focus on it. IT only "seems" to be there when I quickly glance at it.

I find myself driving my oterh cars saying, "WTF?" when I check the window and can't see my gauges. I love the HUD.

Love it. It naturally falls into my scan and I miss it when I'm driving the truck.

Normally run MPH and fuel. Never look at the analogue in the Vert

I love the HUD. Leave the fuel gauge and RPM on all the time. I like the fuel gauge because I have experienced the dreaded fuel gauge gremlin.

I wear polarized glasses and that really dims the HUD, but I am used to it . That shale dash is too reflective!

Default love my HUD

I use it all the time and just like everyone else miss it when in other vehicles! I keep rpms, mph and oil temp visible. Can't imagine not having it...

I too really miss the HUD when driving other vehicles. Speedo, RPM and gas is what's usually there, but I may change on a whim. I really wish other manufacturers would add something like this to their vehicles.

I appreciate having the HUD system in my car. During the night, I usually dim it down a bit so as not to distract my vision.

Not me, shut off at all times. I'm an analog guy. The brain doesn't calculate digital as quickly as it does analog.

Speed, tach, and fuel gauge. Really do not find it all that useful but it is kinda cool. With polarized sunglasses the display is not very bright. Have not seen the shift points that are supposed to be displayed according to some posts.

It just says SHIFT on the right when you need to shift. I run mine from time to time with rpm mph and fuel. I love the hud. I hate how when I have it off and there's some really bad sun glaring it shows everything on my windshield.
