Anyone run into this?
Sometimes when I floor it (but not quite all the way), it seems to get lost. It would downshift all the way at first, but then come back up a gear or two and not drop down all the way again even if I stepped on the pedal all the way.
To get around this, I have to wait a second, bring the pedal all the way up and then floor it again (ALL the way this time) to get it stay downshifted all the way. Kind of frustrating.

I have a 2.73 Gear in the rear.
i would like to have a 3:15 installed but a mechanic buddy said not to mess with it as this is very difficult and expensive. Has anyone else switched out the gears? Where did you buy gear and what was cost to install?

Get DTE gears; cost is circa $1100 plus a core charge. Labour is in the $500-700 range depending on where you go.
Might want to consider a stall at the same time as the labour is the same.
