Hi Guys,
I have finally bought my dream vette!
I am driving it from TX to CA soon and then storing it before I can ship it back to New Zealand. Does anybody know an insurance company I can use to insure it while in USA? I do not have a social security number as I do not live here. Any help would be much appreciated.

Congratulations and enjoy the drive, should be nice and warm. I have never been asked for my SS# but that doesn't mean anything, check around I think a few phone calls will get you what you want. I think its going to be hard leaving your car here once you have driven it. Auto or 6 speed? What year?

Good on ya Mate! Sorry , no help here, but I wanted to say congratulations. My brother lives in Nelson and told me there are no Vettes to be seen anywhere.

Sunrise have a scheme for us Foreign Military types prior to getting our US drivers licences. may be worth giving them a call.
Yeah, we do drive on the wrong side!
Bit nerve racking driving in US for the first few days.
As soon as we sort insurance we will leave Texas and drive vette to
Los Angeles. Will be awesome!
Bought car off forum from Sean in Houston.
Car is beautiful. 2000 bright red, 6 speed, b&b exhaust, mod intake and brakes. Cant wait to get it back to New Zealand(Tauranga)
