How much HP does a stock C5 lose from parasitic loss from the driveline (MN6). Lets say the factory rates my LS1 at 350hp, and a chassis dyno indicates 300hp or roughly 17% at the wheels. Does that mean that as you increase HP thru mods you will always be 50 hp short at the chassis dyno or is it the 17%? I is pitiful that I lay awake at night thinking of things like this.
Some shops say the Mustang Dyno is more accurate other say the Dynojet gives higher numbers, but then must be corrected, even after the SAE correction factors.
