column lock bypass. If you have a mn6 C5 you will need it eventually because your column will lock leaving you stranded somewhere. The fix from GM doesn't correct the problem 100% for the MN6. If you have a A4 then the recall will take carre of the problem.

2001 A4s on were not affected as they do not have a column lock. Some 2000 A4s were affected.
