I don't think most people know these are really just COMPETITION CAMS, which are great cams all derived from XER lobes.
You can call Comp and they will grind you a "special" cam for $402, then you can rename it whatever you want:

I have the same setup as illmac77 and its a great setup for me. Extremely drivable, and I can cruise down my street in 3rd gear doing 20mph with no bucking... Try that with a big cam . I got 447rwhp/427rwtq. I don't have any issues on startup, and it drives smooth as a baby's butt. Lou told me he and his Nascar friends designed the X1-E cam. It must be great engineering if you get the Nascar folks involved !
