It has 14,000 which to me is very low from what I have seen around here anyway. He bought the car new and says it was his toy not his driver. From the pics and what he said it is perfect in everyway free of chips or imperfections. He just bought a new Z06 thats why this one is selling. He has the window sticker and all records. Claims he drove it like vette but never beat on it or raced it. He asked If I would like to call the vette club he is in to question them about the conditon. Like I said I want a near perfect car and it's bit of a drive for a dissipointment. Guess ya never realy know how someone drove it, all you can do is your best. These cars I do know are pretty darn tough, and will take a long hard beating (to a point). It's not cheap but lower than private party high book. I am at a loss to find anything for a killer deal/cost. I feel lucky just to find a cherry one..
Hey Denis
Obviously you should do a carfax, but it is more important to find out where he got the car serviced and call them for the car warranty history. The service center will ask you for the vin and may give you info that some owners wouldn't want you to know..
This Seller seems to have a good reason for selling and If all is good and you got a 2002 z06 cherry..... Excellent
Good luck

I bought an '02 in October after finally letting go of my '67 427/435 coupe of 27 years. The Z is an absolute beast, the right color, (EB), and I've had more fun with this car than any other car in years. The 67 had 4:11's and was just a real handful to do anything with unless you wanted to fry the little tires on the stock rims. The Z will fry it's tires at will, start every time, play a CD and air condition it's occupants. It's a car that's almost indescribable to most folks that aren't familiar with them. They have to experience what this car will do to really appreciate what it's capable of.
NICE. If I get a few more comments like yours I will be a happy camper come next Wednesday.. I have been looking awhile for a Z06 less than 500 miles away, the local ones are all dealers asking big bucks and wont budge!!! Some private party stuff- but so far have still been out of my reach.
I am very lucky to have one.The car is a jewel.I usually only drive it on weekends and nice days but even driving in town.Stop light to stop light its so smooth.Im no expert but I cant imagine a better performance car for the $$.
Sometimes I have to check myself because the car can make you go a little crazy while driving it.
Ive had no problems other than very minor stuff in the 4 yrs. Ive owned the car.Only 16K on it though.
Tell your wife she will NOT be sorry! Excellent car! I have an 02 ZO6 and yes they have traction control and you also have "COMPENTATION MODE" which is an excellent feature. Purchase the car before someone else get it!
Well this may sound strange but the guy was to bz to take my money?
The date to buy his car kept changing and getting farther out. I tried to give him my money.... I know he is not shady, he was just bz getting ready for a long vacation, so he we both missed out I guess. So I went to dealer on Saturday morning after spending weeks hunting in the freezing cold looking at cars I made a decent deal on an 04 with a 5 yr 100,000 warranty . My wife was so freaked out when I called her to meet me in parking lot and there I was with her new car!!! I cant say unfortunatly it's not a Z06 because she truly wanted white and as you know they dont make a white one. I think the Z was more my idea. Bottom line- she got her dream car with still enough power for her and in PERFECT conditon not even one chip on the whole body. I made her happy and thats all that matters. Thanks for all the help/input..

Absolutely. I sold a low 11-second Nova in 2002 and bought my 96, then sold it with the hopes of buying a Z. The first test drive we took in a Z, my wife says "yeah, we have GOT to have one of these!"
I have an '02 ZO6 MW with a little over 30k miles. I track the car as well as use it for the street. Awesome car. No problems ever. The car has been the best car I have ever owned. I drive it like I stole it. I maintenance the car more than recommended due to the type of driving. I still have the original clutch as well. I have been to Pocono 3 times, Watkins 3 times, VIR once. The car has NEVER let me down. Good choice!
