your buddy is a piece of crap and he's going to hurt an innocent person with his empty brain. I'd shove a beer bottle up his *** if he wants one that bad and then throw him off a cliff. Nothing will be lost

My question is, why was his uncle behind him instead of driving his dumb drunk *** nephew home. If he was at the same bar/party/wherever (guessing he was), he should have been driving this dumbass home, unless, of course, he was just as bad off.

The real tragedy in all of this is that he will do it again, given the chance. This time the lucky ones were the innocent people that he didn't hurt - because usually when some moron like your friend goes out and gets $hitfaced and then gets behind the wheel, the resulting carnage usually involves some innocent that takes the worst of the hit. Drunks are so floppy/sloppy sitting behind the wheel, they bounce all over the place behind the wheel (particularly when not wearing a seat belt) and it seems like they rarely get any serious injury.
I would find it very difficult to be friends with this guy - and if you are truly friends, you need to get him to AA or something, otherwise he is going to be your dead friend, or if he's lucky you can visit him in prison.
[QUOTE=Glennm27;1558509342]What is that supposed to mean??
Not going to happen to me.
I hope your buddy go tossed in jail, he desrved it and I hope he lost his driving privileges. I'd be willing to bet neither of those happened but they SHOULD have.[/QUOT
I agree with you. I have no compassion for this kind of crap. I hope he rots in jail. You want this kind of idiot on the road with you and your families out there? In my opinion, one DWI equals a 5 year prison sentence and the second is life in prison. End of case.
I agree with all the posts above, friend or not, he has put a lot of people at risk becasue he fails to admit he has a problem or seek help. I have no sympathy for him either, he got what he deserved, luckily no one else was hurt. Hopefully he will soon open his eyes!! Hopefully this post will open others eyes and maybe get someone else to think twice!!
He must have been drunk if he threw 2 signs. What kind of signs were they? Were they heavy. Must have been difficult to throw while driving the car AND sleeping.
I flew fighters for 20+ years. Never did feel the need to go flying without strapping in. Never went flying after a beer either. 30 mph is as good as 400 knots.

you know guys, it is unfortunate people do this... but i can safely say a good 75% of us are guilty of driving after drinking. i know myself, i have done it. i have stopped though and always arrange for rides. i'll also go pick up my roommates or brother, gf, anyone who needs a ride, no matter what time it is.
i unfortunately was not there to help my bro's gf's brother. while he is quite a drinker and can hold his own, he thought it would be ok to take his dads Aston MArtin Vantage to a friends place that is 2 blocks down the road. well, coming home, after a LOT of drinkin, he ended up totalling the Aston, yea, within the 2 block distance!!! His parents were NOT happy with him at all. he came out fine, but still...its a lesson to be learned...
