1) Posts pictures of the various and numerous car show he attends, allowing us the pleasure of seeing that many more nice cars in the process!
2) Fail to "mention" how well he placed at those same shows. You usually have to pry it out of him!
3) Is always (trying to build up his post count ) giving praise to others in nearly EVERY thread!
4) Is always a good guy and says nothing but good stuff about others
5) Is plain and simply a classy guy that does nothig but help generate interest in the Corvette and its members with his showpiece and one-of-a-kind awesome car.

Thanks Jim!! Someday, I will see that HOT (pun intended) car of yours...

Jim is one of the bigtime notables here,

But his car makes mine feel bad.

Jim does not have an evil bone in his body and treats everyone with respect.

I have met him and he is one of the greatest!

And he does not diss anyone's Vette; he's just taking his to a different level.

(and it looks really good!)

I met Jim a few years back at the Vettefest in Chicago. He's a very nice guy with an amazing car! What impressed me is the fact that his car is DRIVEN, and not a garage queen.

Hey Jon...

Ive looked in and occasionally type a message or 2...
The long and short of it...
...currently I still manage a large electrical contracting firm, as well as, do some business consulting on the side, minister SALT Bible Study, Pastor Church on the Rock Assembly, and YES...
...I just recieved my Masters work last year...which required school Monday - Thursday and some Saturdays...along with the study time....
...just left enough time to sleep barely...

I finish my last 2 classes this week required for my Doctorate...
....I figure I will be somewhat scarce through June while I write my disertation and finish writing my book....

...sorry I havent been around but Im still lurking to try to keep up with as much as possible...

Thanks for the kind sentiments...
...I miss communicating with you and a lot of other great guys around here...GB Vette just noticed I was on yesterday and I have to admit it was great to get his update...
...If I cant be here, its nice to know you and the others are carrying the torch for me and others like me too...

peace
Stu

[QUOTE]

Yeah Stu... Get those priorities straight, will ya??

Actually, this shows what I know... I never knew you managed an electrical contractor group, I thought you were just a wealthy minister...

Add the other "stuff" you are doing, wow you are keeping busy!!

Sorry for the highjacking of this thread!!

More praise for everyone!!

Can't let this go. Met Jim @ Carlisle two years ago. Fine fella and although his car wasn't running too well he was in a great mood. I'm pretty sure he won a celebrity pick and he seemed to be enjoying that. He has promised that he would return to Carlisle but we haven't seen him since. Also, we haven't seen EG, GB Vette, or a host of other C5 icons that seem to BE TOO BUSY to come to Carlisle!!

I have met and competed with Jim on a few occasions, he is a great guy and always goes out of his way to talk with you. He also has nothing but good things to say when he responds to someone elses post.
