Close all the windows, tape up the pressure relief valve located in the left rear of the trunk, turn on the heater fan to max speed and turn the hvac to outside air, it will pressurize the cabin.
That should work. Just glad I don't have a water problem.
Not only is it leaking down the side, but it is leaking into your headliner. Check it and see, if it is wet. Once again I cant believe how many of these cars leak leak like this. And if I were you I would definitely find out about that extra warranty. Way to go Chevy, sell people cars for $53,000 that leak.

They are in the process of fixing it now. They are going to try to repair the leak, put a new headliner in, and I am pushing for new carpet, because it has been soaked. They are working with me, so I am giving them chance to fix it before I tell them no deal. I would rather not give the car back because I really like it. I just can't see them reparing it, if two different dealerships and five repair attempts couldn't stop my 04 from leaking.

Christ.. it's leaking on the passenger side too.. Sigh.
This blows.. had a similar problem with leaking water in my old Camaro. I was hoping I was done with stuff like this.

mine leaks like crazy when I park it with the nose uphill. downhill, no worries. I leave a big one pound dry silica pack in it to mitigate the side effects (scraping the inside of the windows for instance).
as an aside, when I took the bowling green assembly tour got a close look at the leak booths...they dang near dunk these things before they leave to line. My C4 leaked too, so I wonder what goes wrong between BGKY and my driveway
On these Z06s, they have likely had that trim piece over the window replaced for cracking and subsequently leak. At least I know that's the case with mine. No leak before replacement, leaks after.
Not to be smart; but you could do like I did to my Austin Healy, have a drain hole in the floor...Didn't think so.
Mine doesn't leak when parked or moving in the rain, but open the door and my pant leg will get wet from the gutter splash...there has been times to that once it starts that a drip every min or so will follow. If I can, I take a had towl and dry the seal around the window, put the window back up and all is well.
My daily driven 2001 has a leak that is driving me crazy. After even a moderate rain there appears to be water coming in somewhere near the B-pillar on the passenger side. The seatbelt gets wet underneath the interior trim and water is evident on top of the seatbelt retractor hole in the trim. My first thought is that the water is coming in near the back corner of the passenger side window, or somehow leaking through the channel at the top. Has anyone experienced this or have any thoughts?

Welcome to the crowd- I like these things are famous for leaking at these spots- then the water has to go somewhere. Thats the only thing that seperates us all is the place where the water ends. I have mine fully stripped and trying to determine a good way to seal back correctly the first time.
I had an 04 Z that leaked whenever it rained. It leaked down the a pillar and onto the carpet, and the water would accumulate in the kick panel, under the steering wheel and drip down on my legs. Well, five repair attempts could not solve the problem, so GM bought it back under the lemon law. Well, I just picked up an 03 Z this morning and it started raining and this one leaks the same places but worse. Needless to say I wont be buying this car. The owner of the dealership where I bought it, has an 02 Z and I checked his car and it does the exact same thing. I figured before that my 04 was just a lemon, but now I see two other cars firsthand, that are doing the same thing. All different years too. I know these can't be the only three Z's that do this. Has anyone ever had this problem before? I now alot of you dont drive your cars in the rain, so maybe you never had the opportunity to see if it does. I wil try to take a picture and point out where the water leaks in at so you guys can check out your cars also. But if any of you have this problem please let me know.
I have an 02 Z06 and never had any leaks anywhere!!!

Apparently this is where they all leak at. This is my second one that is doing it. I finally took the headliner out of the car and poured water over the roof, and finally saw where it was comming from. Once you find the leak, it should be an easy fix.
This is a painful thread to read - probably since my 04 leaks the exact same way.
Since its an 04, is it still under warranty? If so take it in to get repaird, and when they cant find the leak and it cannot be repaired, file a lemon law case and have GM buy it back, like I did. You're gonna have to have 3 repair attempts(at least in Fl) before you can start the lemon law procedure. Even if the warranty is close to being over, if you get it in before it expires, they stil have to try to repair it because it is an existing condition.
Like so many people on here, I now consider dealership service visits to be a complete waste of money unless it's something major covered by warranty. What is the best way to remove the weatherstripping around the windows without damaging it. I am hoping to reseal everything and get rid of this annoying leak!

The weatherstripping around the windows just pulls off. There is a ridge on it that fits into a channel around the window, it's very simple to reomve and install. Then unscrew the metal drip channel and remove it. And then seal away.

Welcome to the club. My car leaked so bad i had a 1/4 of water in the floor board the day I left Bowling Green during the 2003 Z06 fest. Water was running out of the dash and on to my feet, whenever i hit the brakes............
1st trip to dealer- adjust window, didn't fix it
2nd trip to dealer- replace rubber door seal. Didn't fix it.
3rd trip to dealer- replace plastic window/roof moulding. Stopped 90% of it. They don't use enough silicone between the roof and the moulding and it creates a channel into the A-pilar. The trim tech that fixed my car used a butt load of silicone on the backside of roof moulding.

Good luck on the repair.
Wow, that sounds familiar. Except, none of the finely trained GM technicians could figure mine out.
