Wow - I thought I was alone
Wow - I thought I was alone. I've been chasing this for several years.
Mine started on the passenger side pillar and was mostly fixed (after many long hours at dealer) for about a year. Then the driver's side started leaking and then back again on the passenger side. Also some leaks in the in the back.
a) Dealer has replaced both of the plastic trim parts that hold the side window gaskets to the roof (at least three times on passenger and once on the drivers side). They still leak. I am now sealing with black silicon and may redo the entire thing myself. These seem just impossible for them to get right so that it stays fixed.
b) After fooling around with the driver and passenger window molding for a few years, the dealer replaced the front windshield. They were thinking that it was the original problem. But now it still leaks around the plastic trim parts that hold the side window gasket that were replaced along the way.
b) I have a couple of leaks around the seam where the roof meets the rear deck. I've been sealing with black silicon.
