Hoops Anyone?
Correct me if I am wrong, but any protection is an impovement and better than none ,right?
I am in no hurry to roll my car, but if I do ,I am glad I have just a little more material between me and the road
As far as Bling comments are concerned..........sheesh
I guess custom paint,wheels,upgraded 2 tone interiors,zinc plated rotors,painted calipers,underhood dress up,yada,yada,yada isn't considered bling ...huh?
Coming from street rods background,I have never understood the objection to anything bling......it baffles me..........Unless one is just to old to welcome change or originality/personalization.
I have them, I like them, good for me.......
I recommend them as well Chip, hope it all works out for you

Several options were discussed, as we have not decided if we were going to Chrome them or do a High Polish SS...
I'm going back down mid week next week to drop off some other final mock up prototypes for other projects, so I'll see what they have come up with.
Peace

Anyway the tank does NOT need tp be removed. If you remove the carpet behind the seats ( it is just folded under the floor carpet and again under the trucnk or cargo area) You will see about 8" from the top of the hump a seam that goes alll the way over that looks like silicone. This is where you tanks are. If you stay obve that by a few inches you will be fine/ Most if not all the hoops I have seen have feet on them.....these typically only go down over the hump by and inch. Use it as a template and drill.
You might get a slight smell of gas with the first hole but that is normal.
I have installed 5 pair of these nad glued and bolted all of them.....never dropped the tanks
