You're right . . .
Have a great day!

Just because it's a 10 second car that does it in a civil manner doesn't mean it's a sleeper... being a Corvette it cannot be a sleeper.

A late 80s fox w/ stock wheels and ****ty paint but w/ a Turbo 347 or something like that is a sleeper.

This is the ultimate sleeper

I agree with cobra, the first thing I thought of when reading this thread was that when I think of a sleeper, I think of a slow car such as a civic with a supercharged 427 embedded in the heart. When a corvette is stock, the car boasts a 346 chevy capable of 300ish hp, which is considered fast considering the stock civic proudly presents its 32 mpg 106 horse 4 cylinder. I think when people down talk a corvette, it's only because they either don't know much about them, or they try to convince themselves their little 4 banger with a new ram intake, big exhaust can, and a spoiler can easily give you a run for your money. With a corvette with n2, I wouldn't call that a sleeper, i'd call that a faster vette. But that's just my opinion.

That's amazing, you're right again. Thanks for participating in this extremely important survey and debate. I will never call my Vette a sleeper again, it will just be known as "The stock factory look" from now on.

^ You asked the question man... I provided logical answers with explanations and examples to backup my opinion.

Can you give me a logical answer as to how a Corvette can even be a sleeper?

Corvettes cannot be a sleeper... however a related answer to you thread... I like a car modded in a clean manner with a design theme in mind.

Too many Corvette owners open up Mid America or Ecklers and buy every dang sticker or logo made for the car and think it looks good.

personally i think you just go for the look you want and have fun doing it. Even the best sleepers are going to get made after they have one pass at the track...
