AWD Twin Turbo 6 Speed Manual 400AWHP and it is a wagon....
Not a sleeper. It is clearly a modded car. Put the stock wheels back on it, remove the window tint, and lift it back up to factory ride height. Then you qualify. A child car seat would help too. Then proceed to anhilate mustangs and ricers.
I really don't think you can qualify an iconic sports car as a sleeper. Even in stock form w/ wagon wheels and the old factory black catback the car is still known/assumed to be fast.
If you want sleeper take a civic, or something that isn't assumed to be fast....
Sleepers Are The Best. And Yes You Can Have A Corvette Sleeper. Mine Is One.

How About 11.20's !!!!!!!!!!!
It's quick, (13.20s), but good grief, the piston slap really bugs me! It knocks loud enough when cold to get my coworker's attention. It quietens down when warm, but is still slightly audible. Oh well.

If you want sleeper take a civic, or something that isn't assumed to be fast... i.e. my buddy's volvo wagon w/ a LT-4 in it, or the TT LSX volvo wagon floating around the web.
I think half the fun of driving around in a Corvette is the fast car look. I definitely favor a fast looking car over a sleeper. If all I was concerned about was speed, I'd buy a cheap Evo or something and get the most power I could out of it.

I can't count the times I've been at a traffic light and had people not notice they got the arrow, etc. because they never seen a 'vette with stripes. Then i give the throttle a tiny stab and they're like
I love it man!
To me, a sleeper is a car that doesn't sound fast or look fast but is. If my car wasn't so damn loud (B&B and big cam) I would almost call it a sleeper.
Use to get numberous comments about what a sleeper my car was. But it got old really quick when it seemed every beefed up ricer, F-Body, and mustang wanted to challenge me. Not that i am knocking anyone if that is what you like to do Anyways since i have put black outs in and have cobalt gauges most everyone leaves me alone.

...unless you're driving a Z06 with a big cam, then looking stock doesn't really matter much.

That's me. I honestly have not had all the ricers or anyone else for that matter try to mess with me nearly as much since my car developed this really loud hard hitting lopey sound!
