That just plain su$ks, them trying to lie about the little scratch, hope you have uninsured motorist, I had to use it last year when some idoit hit my wife and knocked her out, lucky she was ok and the car was fixed and that idiot is probably still driving, good luck with the repair

no license or ID and a bogus insurance number (was not her car). (already called her supposed company)
no english speaking until the cop got there etc...
don't know for sure, but i feel it is a safe assumption and so did the cop. i left after all that but i don't think they arrested her.
i know this is a very touchy subject. i mean no offense to anyone on this board by it.
BTW, i don't think he could give her a ticket for no license because we were on private property..

Is the damage going to add up to more than your deductible? If not, don't go to your insurance and take the chance of your rates going up! Pay out of your pocket and use the insurance for when you really have to. Sorry you had to go through this

If there was a cop there, there should be a report. As well as license plates, driver license numbers taken. Your insurance company should be the one suing them, not you. Follow up with the PD with the bogus info they provided. They should be able to go to their home and issue additional citations... if they don't pay those, they'll have warrants issued... it's a downward spiral.
And yes, the world is a screwed up place. Hardly anyone takes responsibility for anything they do anymore. Sorry for your situation, I hope it works out.

i was leaving walgreens just about 2 hours ago and an illegal immigrant backs out and runs right into my drivers door and then gets out not speaking a word of english. to make a long story short, the cops arrive and she miraculously speaks english! WTF?!?! Her scuzzy husband and gangster looking kids show up and they proceed to tell me it is just a scratch!!! it will buff out! we are not paying for that!

Don't apologize, it isn't rocket surgery, she was an illegal alien and you are going to get fooked and have to pay. You should be pissed!
As a legal immigrant to this country, there isn't much that pisses me off more than people who jump the line. Believe me, the process was stressful, difficult and expensive.

Man that really stinks so sorry it happend to you....I live in NJ and this state if FILLED with people not having real insurance....I was hit a year ago by the same type of "person" and I ended up just paying out of my pocket because my state rips off all us paying insurance customers....
I am tired of being charged for all these dam ignorant people...They should all be shipped back to there countrys.................

I feel really bad for you. There should be a way for the Police to check on the spot if people are properly/legally insured. They also should be able to check their citizenship. That pisses me off now!! GOOD LUCK.

When I lived in Miami, I got by some damn cuban. She begggged me not to call the police. And oh yeah I definately thought she was illegal. I heard a statistic that 1/5th of all drivers down there are unisured and unlicensed. Fortunately (for her and me) I had a early 90's toyota camry with the huge invincible plastic bumpers. No damage.
I can't believe driving with no license is not a jailable offense. This country has too many damn loop holes. Kick them all out. My mom came here LEGALLY (on a plane, not a boat) first on a student visa, then was granted permanent resident then citizen and yes it is a long, expensive process to do it legally. She is bilingual, speaks english fluently and pays taxes. Then her parents came to live with us too, they also came legally and became permanent residents and learned english the best they could (in their late 60's at this point). Grandfather became a citizen, grandmother died before she was able to.
Those who come here to put a burden on our resources... UGH!!!!

Ahhh, austin TX.. i was there on business once. on 6th street partying with the college crowd, i went to this one building with alot of people sitting outside, i thought wow that must be a hella club. turns out it was a homeless shelter :Lol:
