C5 Conversion
Our cars are great, but try to keep open minds.

This treatment would be logical to bring back SOME specific C5 wrecks. But at $65K? That's just too much money.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Each has a VE interior, custom Ronal wheels, Kewl Smoothies, Baer Eradispeeds +1 conversion, headers, and all sorts of other custom touches.
He has a red one that is due to be delivered in the next couple of days, a blue one (similar to Nassau Blue) and a white one. The craftmanship is excellent, but I agree, the conversion is not for everyone. I've driven them - they are all Dynamatted, and believe it or not - they feel different than a stock C5.

This one was sold at SEMA this year by Keith -

Overall the build is really nice.
Two issues:
1: Only stock size wheels are allowed.
2. The windshield is somewhat distracting from the C2 original looks (remember it is the C5 unit, and is 'swept- back' vs the almost 'up- right on the C2's).
Would I do one - yes if it were not for the wheel issue.
Keith is running 275-35x18's in front and 305-30x19's in back on the blue and red cars. He alternates on the white car and has run a 275-30x19 in front and a 295-25x20 in back (as pictured).
These cars are mostly carbon fiber, and the fit and finish is incredible. They can be painted any color and it is totally up to the owner.
The cars pictured do not have the CORVETTE letters or the badging, but are intended to be owner installed. CRC does not want to get into any copyright infringement issues with GM, so they provide the letters, but the owner has to install them.
I have driven and seen several of the cars. I agree - it's not for everyone, I wouldn't do it to my C5....but they are really beautiful and are faithful reproductions of the '62, modified to fit on the 4" wider C5 chassis. As someone pointed out - it's an opportunity to have the retro look of the '62 with all of the comfort, convenience, safety and driveability of the C5.
