Know what you mean. My back is still aching from my trip to the chiropractor. Working in a factory doing repetitive work for years takes its toll. But getting in my VETTE still puts a smile on my face.
all you young guys out there - please don't buy into this thing about how great your golden years will be - sure if you get lucky & retire you might not have to drag out of bed in the AM and head to work - my feet hurt - my back hurt - i have half the hair i use to have - my ***** takes much more time off then he use to - even have to buy him a special pill to keep him happy - hair grows like wild fire in my ears - well thats about all i have to say about that - t
PS one good thing - my insurance is only $234.00 for 6 mo's for my 02 - so i guess the above is all worth it
You think old is bad wait til you become ancient like I am. If thats all that is wrong with you suck it up cause it will get a lot worst.lol lol

I'll be 56 in January...Feel pretty good but then again I make a major effort to take care of myself. I work out regularly, eat only whole fresh foods and p***y, drink in moderation, don't smoke, go to the Doc and Purple Harry still rises when and where I want him to - without the blue pill. So all in all I'm doin' pretty good.

Im 60 years old and have the normal achs and pains, prostate problems etc..One thing I know is that our cars help a lot to keep us young or at least feeling that way! I made a mistake a few months back and sold my street rod.[see avatar picture] I had the car forever and was always doing something to it and raced it a lot at the local dragstrip. My wife told me I would regret selling it and she was right. My vette helps but now Im lookin for a 55 chevy 2 door to build an old school gasser style street rod from. In the meantime the vette is fun and i will keep on enjoying it! I was feeling a little down this morning so I took it out on a backroad and did a super burnout just for the therapudic value. It worked! It makes me feel 19 again! Dave
OH sh#t you guys & girls have made my day... my week..and much more. I feel young but when the number 60 came it hit hard for some reason. Several things have boosted my spirits along with the pleasure of owning lots of cool cars (currently my 2000 C5)
Im the VP of a community college, but i like to wear jeans occasionally to work (black 501s). The other day one of the gals i work with told me i have a cute ***. Ha!
I got to be friends with one of the students who is a rock/metal guitar nut. I play and have a Fender Strat & 100 watt amp in my office (for after hours and lunch, right?) I like playing Ventures stuff. One day the student came by and wanted to hear me play. I fired up Pipeline with lots of reverb, and he said "wow, that's reallly cool". And then i let him play. AND then we both got busted by one of MY faculty for playing too loud. He and I laughed our asses off after she left.
Aw ****, life is wonderful, even at 60.

you know guy's after being retired for about 3 years i went back to work driving school bus for special need kids - 180 work days a year - just right - it keeps me from hitting that lazy boy to much & it also makes me really look forward to the week-ins - but what the job really does is tell me how lucky i really am - my aches & pains are nothing compared to what the kids i take to school live with! some are in wheel chairs, some have huge smiles on their face but the folks who know tells me that the smile means nothing - it doesn't mean their happy or feel good it just means that they have a smile on their face - so when i get hurting pretty bad sometimes i just think about my kids - makes my little aches a pimple on an elephants *** - tommy
