I just turned 20 in May and also graduated college with an Associates degree in May. Well, after starting full time at my work (Michelin Tire of all places ) I fell in love with a 2002 Z06. Well, the next day I drove 500 miles and bought it! Since then, I've had numerous people telling me I was to young and inexperienced to drive a Vette!? Whats with that!!!
Just wondering everyone elses thoughts on a 20 year old owning a 2002 Z06...
Definately not to young, I am 19 for another 2 months and Ive had my vette for about 7 months and I know of some people that have vettes that are younger than me. They are just bitter and jealous that you have a vette and want to ruin your glory. Never let anyone bring you down about having a vette, if anyone makes a comment just remember, your still driving a vette.
Congrats on the buy, your going to love it, but unless you have a fireproof wallet there will be a hole in it soon, the bug will take hold
If you have a good head on your shoulders, then no.
Be responsible, respect other drivers and do not give in to peer pressure (ie: racing on the highway) Enjoy your ride and POST PICS!!
Yeah..don't let it get you down..people always try to pull
you down...rain on your parade..etc.
However the other side of it...is you do have a high powered
car...so just be carefull out there..stay in control..don't push
it's or your limits...because by the time you find those
limits..it's so long beautiful car...

Bull! I was 21 when I got my first vette. Keep a vette in your garage for the rest of your life. Someday someone will tell you your are too old. I say give em teh Hawiian peace sign now and then.
I got my 1st vette @ 21. I got my 2nd vette @ 23, which is my current car also a 2002 Z06. Like said before, as long as you've got 1/2 a brain and don't get into too much trouble, there's nothing wrong with being young and having a bad @ss car.
