Cruising to my buddy's house, saw a beautiful C1 and I waved really big...and nothing.
Got to my buddy's house and told him about, we just came up with excuses for the guy, so when we departed for the CHARLESTON NINE Cruise In we (in our separate cars) saw the same guy and both waved adn nothing. What a *****, but what can you do, it happens.

I think the reason that the guy in the C1 did not wave was because he could not let go of the steering wheel. He prob didnt have a free hand. You ever drove a C1 or C2 for that matter with no power steering, brakes and a manual transmission? It is a better workout than any gym can provide.
My guess is that he was just trying to keep the thing on the road.
I always wave. In fact, when I see a Vette heading towards me I intentionally put my hand at the top of the steering wheel to "prepare" for the "Two finger flip" as my girlfriend calls it. I think it's on of the unique aspects of being part of the Corvette Community.
[QUOTE=Ken02busa;1561173676]The only time I dont see people waving is when I am on my Hayabusa, and the other guys is on a Harley. They dont wave because they are scared they will lose control of the oil leaking POS.
HEY,BUSABOY EASY ON THE HOGS!
I've only had my vette for a month and a half. I can't believe how every other vette owner on the road gives or returns my "thumbs up" each and every time. It is a very special club. I don't remember getting that kind of response when I drove my '73 and '77 vettes back in the eighties (though I do remember young ladies waving). I even got a thumbs up from a guy in a Lamborghini Gallardo Spider on Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills. That was a surprise!
I'm still a rookie, after waiting 50 years. I give a hearty wave every single time. If a C6 is too...whatever to return it, his problem. I hope we don't try to seperate ourselves into whatever "C" you have. Keep the spirit alive......wave.

Possible, but his arm was rested on his door and he only appeared to have one hand on the steering wheel, but you may be right. Oh well, I didn't loose any sleep.
