Anyhoo....sounds a lot like a "groupie" thing where the price of admission to the "special club" is a wave. If you get one? Must be a cool guy! If you don't get one? Must be an a$$wipe, don't invite him to our club or give him the secret handshake.

If I didn't know better I'd say it was almost somewhat arrogant and "clique-y."

Then again, I've always been anti-social so don't take it personally.
And always remember to some the Vette is just a car like a Lexus, Caddy, Yugo you get my drift. And for the record yes I eat and drink in my car and I've even been known to lean against it at times. But I do take care of it and enjoy driving it oha nd yes I do wave

I love my C5. It's a great car and a lot of fun to drive. But, I don't feel the need to bond with you just because you have the same car. It's OK if you want to wave, it's not OK to **** and moan if you don't get one in return. Who put you in charge of road ettiquette anyways? Who really cares? If you do care, you need to rethink your priorities. Comes off a little needy. What's next? Join the Elks or Masons?

I unfortunately am also a member of the dually club, and every dually driver I have seen, in every Province or now State gives the big wave.
But I wave anyway, to the dually pilots, and the hogs on hogs.
Ha Ha this is too funny....we have a couple of 3500 silverado dually's for my company as well....I wondered why other dually drivers would wave ....

LMFAO...now I know....

It takes so little effort why hold back? To me it's the pleasure of giving not so much the receiving. I always wave, always. Even at one's passing on the opposite side of a divided highway that are in a pack of cars.

It is like giving flowers to someone, who has ever been upset by being waved at?

Does everyone here want waved to and feel deprived somehow when they are not?

This is actually kind of funny from my perspective coming off 4 years of C4 ownership where every couple of weeks there were threads about snobby C5 owners who didn't wave to us lowly C4 owners. Maybe those snobby C5 owners are the ones who moved up to become snobby C6 owners By the way, I always wave

I wave,it's fun, my wife will wave even before I do! If we don't wave it means we really didn't see you. If you think waving is stupid and don't wave back...so be it,not really gonna get upset. It takes all kinds of peeps to make up this world. It dosen't take much to be nice!

I stopped doing it. Unless its one of the two people in my area that I know. And their cars stand out. Everyone else is a ***** about it in my area. So they may pound sand!

I always wave in Ocean City because that is where the like-minded folks are. DC suburbs are HARSH!

When I'm in the 72 (which has been a long time) I always wave at any Vette, I see. Never worry too much if they wave back.

However, if I'm in the T/A, I'll usually throw a Rev at any near by Corvette, just to see that the reaction is

Why TF should she acknowledge you ? She probably thinks you're trying to pick her up anyways. Maybe you should use a little discretion. Everyone isn't aware of your "club".

Same rules for waving at women and picking up hitchhikers applies. Keep on driving.
