Mine is a toy I take out to play with, not my daily driver. I do get bored with "stock" so I mod them to suit my personality. So the answer for me is no driving mine does not get old.
It never gets old but if you ever get used to the degree of your smile every time you start it up, throw on another mod and you'll have the chance to rediscover the car all over again. each time its like the first day.

My car is a weekend warrior now. I have a really nice car to drive all week long that I enjoy too. But everytime I sit in the Vette, I get this very special feeling. I waited a long time to buy the car of my dreams. It will never get old for me.
After nearly four years, I still feel a slight upturn of the corners of my mouth every time I walk out to the garage. No matter how bad my day was - just looking at it makes me happy.
I drive mine every day and I wouldn't have it any other way. Does it get old? I answer with an emphatic NO! There is certainly an element of joy this car puts into my life.
If my daily driving EVER gets to feeling like old hat I just turn off Traction Control and "warm up" the tires. That will always recharge my love for this car and brighten up the "GRIN".
Went to family reunion this past saturday, about 50 miles away. 3 adults and a 9 year old grandson from my family. With gas prices, I was going to take all of us in the family car. But, said the heck with this...great weather, so me and the grandson hopped in the vette. In nice weather, I always look to take her out....always gets the juices going.
