Living in a region where it is not hotter then heck in the summer I can say by the time the car gets put away in November it has gotten a little old. But it's like getting a brand new car every April.
Mine is not a daily driver but even in the summer when I drive it a lot in a given week it does get a little old. But really everything does. Although maybe what gets old is really caring about where you park and who is possibly messing with your car....
I am on my third vette, never gets old, in fact I look forward to getting in and driving my vette, it never fails to make me smile, in fact I usually trade cars every 2-3 years, this is the only car I have owned for 9+ years, every time I think about trading it in, I drive it and decide why trade it when I still like it so much, I have owned over 40 cars.
You may have to get old but you don't have to be old!
Many times our toys don't have the same new uplift that we would like, especially when overshadowed by life's many problems.
But good is good and likeing is ok too!
I always enjoy my '04 since I don't get to use it most of the week, and it took a long time to get it!

Around here, there is significant risk that one's parking lot 'neighbor' will ding your car. Could get keyed, too, if you park in the wrong neighborhood.
I only drive mine about 1,000 miles a year, so no, it doesn't get old. I do get tired of cleaning it 2 hours for every hour that I drive it. When the end of October rolls around I look forward to putting it into storage for the winter, but I really start missing it in January.
There is something liberating about driving a POS that you don't really care about. So the only way I think it would get old is the "stress" of having to be so careful with it. Don't scrape the nose, don't curb the wheels, park all the way across the parking lot, etc.
A Corvette is like a different breed. If a vette were a woman, it would be the most beautiful, the most fun, the most daring woman................while other women have attitudes.............there is no attitude with the vette, only performance, it is the most.
Just think, when you are with the most beautiful women, you do not want to let go.........you want her to perform for you.........all the time, over and over. and you do not mind spending on her because you know you will get every cent back, and more.
Get tired? I am 52: first vette 50,000 miles to 177,000 miles
second vette 8200 miles to (in progress).
Get tired of driving a vette.........never.
