The spoiler is the perfect size and shape and I think it's a great look, but maybe a little cheesy the way it attaches. It's obviously stuck on and it looks like it is stuck on because the edges are too thick. It would look better if the edges were tapered or at least thinner so as to blend in more for a seamless look. I don't think I can go for that.

Does that mean you don't want yours anymore? I'm not real big on the ones that require the permanent drilling of holes in the car either...As for it coming off...the Body Side moldings are attached with 3m tape and hose SOB's have never budged yet...

Sure the specter werkes looks very nice. But over $300 more and at least double the cost and probably more on painting it PLUS a much more involved installation....Personally I think your missing the point on why this is so popular.
Subtle and easy to install without a huge investment and major alterations.
Everyone has their preferences and the amount to which they will go to achieve their desire.
I love the specter one a lot but don't want to alter my car that much plus make the added investment. I love the shape of thier molded in spoiler and would have considered it had I not found that the ACS one was still available! (though likely still would not have done it)
The ACI and Caravaggio spoilers are very cool as well BUT for ME wouldn't work with my decal scheme.
The ACS satisfy's those looking for a great look at a great price and an easy DIY installation.
You really can't go wrong with any of these options is just a matter of personal preference.
We need some pics soon of all of these installations!!! If it ever warms up here I will install mine but were looking at 0 degrees this weekend!

For all the same reasons.
I wish some people would stop trying to sway us away from this choice. Their opinions are not even on topic. Sorry we can't all invest thousands on "proper" body mods . I can't wait for my opportunity to get one, thanks to all the efforts involved.

I wasn't trying to sway anyone with my Specter Werkes reference, just pointing out better alternatives to overpriced cr4p on fleabay.
Stu, put me on your list please. I think it's time for an early b-day present...
just a thought:
There may those among us who think this is about making a profit...
...I would suggest that I would rip my mini spoiler off StuzVette and give it to the last guy who wants one...before I would let someone slip in here to make a profit on the evolving efforts made here to accomplish a benevolently motivated thread for the benefit of fellow C5 enthusiasts...
If you want to be a hero capitalist then go to ACS and make a big deal to purchase a boat-load for sale here at $249.99 + shipping!!!
...anything short of that is parasitism...
That being said...I dont have a problem making a profit...
...I do have a problem profiting on a benefit!
Is Rosa's some kind of corvette meet in the dfw area? I live in Irving and would like to attend a corvette gathering or two.
Sure is!!! Come out sometime. We meet at the Rosa's in Bedford. Here is the thread. You get to see some amazing vettes out there as you can see in the pics:
Dropping my car off at the paint shop in the morning to have the Tiger Shark nose, side skirts and spoiler installed.
I'll post up some pics by the end of next week of the spoiler on a Arctic White vert. I love the scale just sitting it on the car. Not too much - not too little.
