Not difficult at all. Just unplug the switch, Install a paper clip in the connector and that will essentially BY PASS that switch. You can also see if it is working by depressing and releasing the clutch while at the same time listening for the Theft Deterrent Relay (TDR) in the passengers foot well to click when the switch is pressed and released. The TDR can also be defective. It on the passengers side in the foot well on the fire wall above the BCM...
Are you SURE your battery terminals are clean and tight!!!???!!! They cause this problem a LOT> Are you sure the battery is also good??
