I love my trunk popper and I show my car all the time at area car shows and cruise-ins. Unless I tell people I added the trunk popper probably 90% of them would have no idea that it didn't come stock with the truck popper since most brand cars do have them.

Also, at the current price of gasoline you could have driven all over town looking for just the right size and shape of spring and when you got yours installed you could have said that you got the spring for 50 cents and only spent $20.00 on gasoline.

Default look closer

You may not need anything to repair this problem. Check the mounting plate for the stricker it maybe loose. If so you can remove the license plate holder assembly to gain access and tighten the 4 bolts that hold the plate to the body. Its a simple fix, takes 10 minutes.

i love mine best money spent i do a few shows and have never heard a bad comment about it . if i did i'd take it off and then put it back on

Try a little WD-40 on all the joints in the trunk lid. Did mine and it raises like it used to.
