Ive been out one sensor (LF) for quite a while now, and of course every start up ya get the msg.
But 2 days ago It stopped coming up, so I was like
Then today its started back up.
Im wonderin' why did it stop in the first place? To let me know its gettin sick of warning me??
You know you can clear your codes and it wont come up again. I have one that doesnt work either and I cleared the code for it and it doesnt show up anymore. Here is how you clear your codes in case you dont know.

I think it is more of a coincidence, or luck of the draw that you cleared the codes and the warning did not reappear. It seems the majority of members without the sensors (or malfunctioning sensors) report that the warning comes up no matter what they do. Some owners are lucky enough where this doesn’t always happen. During the winter I run wheels without sensors and receive no warnings. It just has blanks where the pressure would be displayed. On 2001 and up, the feature can truly be programmed out.
Its going to keep coming up unless you program it out with a Tech II. Not sure if you can with a 99 though.
I'd just replace the sensor. Gene Cully does a good price on a new one. The older sensors are more $$ - $86 for a 99 sensor
Yup!
Matter a' fact i got one from Gene a few weeks ago, along with some new pads and rotors!
I have new rubbers too, just waiting for the time and place to do it all at once.
