Driving my DD two weeks ago I had one come up from the hood at 50MPH onto the windshield by the wipers. Couldn't believe it, brazen little sucker. Put the green candy in the garage, my POS truck, shed, over the garage storage. Already gone thru 6 trays. I want to get rid of them, but not the neighborhood cats. So I guess I'll have to switch to traps.

I still live by Big *****'s abilities. My garage has multiple opening. In 7 years, there's been 1 mouse. It had 4 nice little holes in it's sides that perfectly lined up with Big *****'s canine teeth.

Big ***** rules the roost in my garage and house. Mighty Mouse and Speedy Gonzales both sold their properties and moved out when I moved in.

Billdog350 and I really are neighbors. I'm in the next town, East Hampton. Thanks for the offer. Now that I've got two little ones at home, the wife and I don't take the Vette out too much. I only get to drive to/from work. Guess that's better than nothing.

At first I thought it was a leaf, but then I saw its fuzzy little nose. It wasn't the best start to the morning.

I've got the Vette in storage with moth ***** under the hood and in the cabin. I really don't want to have the smell in the car come spring. Any better ideas? I've heard mice really don't like the smell of mint. Can anyone confirm/deny? Much better smell than moth *****.

I've never had mice in my Vette (I've probably just jinxed myself), but I did recently find mouse droppings on top of the plastic engine cover on my TrailBlazer SS. I put out mouse traps and caught 11 of the little buggers in one day.

I've put bars of Irish Spring soap inside my Vette and in the engine compartment for years and it's worked for me.

Either that or the critters are partial to suburbans! What I'm wondering is if mice follow the roach rule where if you see 1, you probably have 50.

Never had a mouse in the vette during six winters of storage. I use traps baited with peanut butter. They're suckers for Jif Extra Crunchy.

That is awesome! That is how i keep the rodents away. I have two cats that live in my garage/outside. They average about 3-4 rodent kills a week that they leave for me to clean up. Most of them are moles, but they get their fair share of mice. Needless to say I don't worry about them too much. Thankfully my cats hate the vette too so they don't get on it.
