Santa brought some soft, unlined leather gloves. Thought I would try driving with them.....MAN, what a difference....steering felt more solid and the stock shifter even felt smoother.....Anybody else drive with gloves??
Some may argue that just to don racing apparel adds to the whole experience only from a psychological point of view.
When I drove an MGB, I, too, felt that putting on non-lined thin leather gloves made the steering tighter and the shifting a bit quicker.
Did it really make a physical difference? I don't know. Who cares? If the gloves make for a better ride, wear them! Wear them out, and get another pair. Wear out two 'Vettes with the same pair - just get out there, drive, and Enjoy!!
