So these switchbacks don't actually work as advertised? You still end up with an amber DRL?

Am I missing something? I have the clear lenses and I would like a white DRL, not an amber one but I would like the signals to flash amber.

Is there any way to do this?:o

they're amber when the headlights are off. they're white when the parking/headlamps are on.

they alternate between white and amber when your blinker is on and your headlights are on.

This was posted earlier several times and is directly opposite to what is on the website. I can read and I have read the thread.

The website says that they make your DRLs white.

The Switcback Bulb is designed to light bright white when the running lights are on. When the turn signal is activated, the light will automatically instantly switch from white to amber, and flash. These are great for clear front turn signals and for meeting import standards on European made autos.

Generally, I don't drive with my headlights on in the daytime so if they work as you say, then they don't work as advertised.

I would like my DRLs to be white, and when I turn on the signals, to flash amber and I would like this to happen without my headlights or parking lights turned on.

Is there a way to wire these lights so they function like I want?

Some info on SMT lights from autolumination; I can't vouch for dual circuit bulbs, but I put the SMT Tower III bulbs 194 in my clear corners and they work great; I think they're a 25 LED bulb as opposed to the 9 LED Tower II

no...ive had my clear corners layin around for months just installed them today...kinda an anoying job for a lil mod...youll have to buy amber bulbs or else it will light up clear in your corners....thats what i wanted so no big deal cuz i have the clear rear markers too but if you want amber youll have to buy new 194 bulbs cuz the stock bulbs are clear... have fun rippin out the front brake ducts on ur back to get the new lenses in ha... was definately worth it tho... much cleaner look by far.
