Default Clear Corner Light Options

I recently received a set of clear corners for Christmas. I am looking for the best lighting options, including the vendors. I have the new flasher harness from Richard, so LED's can be an option. I ran this same post a couple of months ago, but am running again just in case there is something new. I need to order the lights since I will be installing the corners soon. Thanks to all in advance for your responses.

I, and many others in this forum, use autolumination.com for lighting needs. That'll probably be your best bet.
As for bulbs, I use super whites; no LEDs. That works for me without problems, thus far.

I use autolumination as well. A bit pricey, but great product.

These are the specific LED's I have ordered based on input from members. I have not installed them yet but am looking forward to doing it.

3157 amber and White 27 LED SMT Tower

Try this link if it works, if not paste it in your browser

http://autolumination.com/3157_3156.htm

Scroll down to the fourth row of pictures of the lights. They are $19.99each

Do you know the exact part number needed for a C5? (For the switchback) Also, are there 2 bulbs in each corner? Which other bulb is used?

they're plug and play. they will cause you to have rapid flash, however, unless you install the LED harness from richard.

I have the switchbacks and was wondering if anyone knew how get white DRL's out of them? Other than by moving headlight the headlight switch to parking lights.

i think that's the way they're designed. amber when the switch is off, white when it's on.

LED tower bulbs are a good option.

DO NOT use the SMT style tower bulbs. For some reason they freak out the car's illumination.

Can you elaborate on the issue the SMT bulbs cause?

Would it make a difference if the SMT bulb was a dual circuit type?

I'd love to tell you why it happened, but I have no idea. All i know is when I pluged in one to test it and turned on the car, all the gauge lights started flashing irraticaly. Almost like my car was posessed.

I exrocized the bulb and replaced it with the standard LED tower 3157 I was using before and the problem went away.

I'm pretty sure the one I tested was a dual circuit.
