So its a pretty nice day here in Virginia Beach today. I go out to wash my car so that I can take it out for a spin later.....That is when I notice that someone has keyed the driver front fender! Talk about being pissed!!! Unfortunately I am on NAS Oceana for a school right now......so not at home......It ones of those things that isn't even enough to claim on insurance but its the fact of having to get it fixed! I don't understand why someone would do this to a beautiful car! It just makes me sick Sorry just needed to vent a little!!!

I recently went to a club where you HAD TO park with the Valet and when I got my car back the very very low rocker panel in front of the passenger wheel well was gouged about a 1/4" deep and about three inches long where they had turned too close to a curb.
They of course said they did not do it but NOBODY drives my car but me and I don't hit curbs.
That is one of the reasons I moved out of Va. Beach and moved down here to Nags head! I had both my street rod and my Vette [c-4 at the time] vandalized when I lived there. Most of the Va. Beach people are great but their seems to be a growing population of "A" holes livng there now! I would love just one time to catch one of these "losers" in the act, but I would surely end up in jail while they wiled away their time in a nice hospital room...
"had to vent" Dave
I live in a pretty nice part of town that's supposedly inhabited by sensitive, enlightened individuals. But over the years (and particularly of late), I've endured way too much hit-and-run / vandalism damage to our family's DDs -- so I never allow my Vette to be out of my sight.
A sad commentary on today's society: ya have something nice that you worked hard for and are proud of and some azzhat comes along and messes it up in a fraction of a second. Worse, said azzhat somehow feels really good about what they just did.
Sorry some idiot did that to your car. However, I cannot understand "Mudlizards" approach to owning a vette!! Why would anyone keep it in the garage or in sight all the time. It is, after all, a car built to be driven and enjoyed. I even take mine to the grocery store, granted, I park way out, but not driving it if I can't see it every minute is a real waste of fine machinery!!
Thats a damn shame ,your always going to have those select group of axxhats out there ,i never allow my car to be out of my site when im out, nor would i allow a valet to park my car, i call this piece of mind for me because if i ever caught someone in the act of vandalizing my ride i would definitley go to jail
Happened to me the first week I bought my car. Sadly, it comes with the territory when owning a nice car. No point getting pissed after the fact, but if I cought them in the act it would be a whole nother story
