Anyone else running Michelin Pilots? I'm trying to find something quieter than my Goodyear Eagles. These were recommended by another member. Looking for more opinions. Thanks.

They are alot quieter than Goodyear runflats, as far as the Eagles I'm not sure. I've been through a couple sets of Pilot Sports, best all around tires, IMO.
The Michelin's ZP made a world of difference from the Goodyear's. IMO you can not go wrong with a Michelin tire. I have 45K on a set of M/S on a 2003 Z-71 Tahoe and there is another 25K left on them. I don't have any stock in Michelin, they produce a great product.
On my second set now, and soon to be third. Not because they wear out just that I keep changing wheels, but have remained with PS2s.
Made the change from the factory runflats to non-flat Michelins back in 03 and dont regret it a bit. A bit more $$$ but you get what you pay for. Enjoy the QUIETER ride and better overall performance.
The Goodyear GSD3s are just as quiet as PS2s, cost less and don't wear as quickly (according to an independent testing facility). You really can't go wrong with the D3s.
I've had the PS2's on my C5 for about two years. They are quiet, handle pretty good and they wear has been good. I've really got no complaints about them.

I have PS2's - had them for a little over two years. Quiet, great handling, good in the rain and come in sizes that the Goodyear GS-D3 doesn't. Yes - they are more expensive....which is the only downside that I see.
I have run a set of Pilots and they are great, jut pricey. If you want to lower noise I recomend doing the insulation thing, a bigger improvement than changing tires.
I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport All Season Zero Pressures (AS ZP)
Way quieter than stock and still a run flat.
I agree! Not only quieter, but smoother / better ride, and less 'tramlining' than what I had with the OEM GY EMTs. The pilot sport A/S ZPs, have better wet and snow traction, if it matters, as well.
One down side is that the Pilot Sport A/S ZPs have a 50 recommended maximum driving range while flat, and still be repairable, compared to the 200 mile range of the GY EMT.
I believe the GY and Michelin are the only 2 run flats available that can be repaired after being driven while suffering a complete loss of inflation.
