Did you even read any of this thread? No one has installed them because the revised ones aren't even out yet.

is it possible to get a response or a refund ? i am tired of driving my car and not being able to make hard right turns because of the steering shaft making contact with the driver side header.

wouldnt this be a safety issue also? i hope it doesnt happen but what if i needed to make a hard right turn to avoid something and couldnt...

I'm guessing these things are never gonna happen. My car was susposed to get the first set, however I can't get any info! I don't understand how it can take 8 months to make a couple small changes? Any updates? This is getting annoying!

The shop doing the mock-up and SSAC had a falling out... They are currently seeking a shop or someone that can complete the mock-up. That's the last I heard anyway. I'll try and keep everyone updated...

neokorros - From my understanding the new Headers were completed, I'll do my best to see if they will build you a set. Are you willing to field test em??????

If your refering to EFIalchemy Doc said they sent the headers back 3 times for them to make changes and everytime they got them back no changes where made. Since SSAC doesn't want to fix the issues they do not want to deal with them anymore and sell a subpar product to the vette community. SO EFI is done with them according from Doc and for all that are inquiring why didn't you just pick up a phone and call them and get the same info I did a long time ago?

I gave up myself and found some of the second generation SSAC headers brand with x-pipe in the buy/sell/trade forum for the same price. Just got the car dynoed the other day with them. Went from 331rwhp to 356rwhp.

i just want a refund or ssac can expect a small claims lawsuit soon from my lawyer.

400 dollars i spent on headers that are not even safe for driving. (when making hard right turns they rub against my steering shaft)

tired of waiting...

update? i know my roommate was waiting on a set from LPP (lunati performance prarts or something) that was distributing them on LS1 tech for the F-Bodies, We finally got them about a month ago for his WS6 TA, they went on real easily and was hoping they would come out with a gen3 for the vette as well. any word?

(p.s. the F-body crowd waited since Jan. or Feb. for them but they finally came out...)

just an update.... I have the gen one headers.. on with the xpipe.... BB bullet exhaust my car went 12.4's @ 113 mph in the quarter with nothing other than a haltech stinger and a Street tune from ECS!!!

I installed them in 4 hours in my driveway..... most of the issues were worked out prior by my man TSTAR so A lot of forum members laughed at us and called them cheap

WORD!!... headers been on the car for over two years now!!

I have them on as well with an x-pipe, and my car routinely sees 111-112mph with a terribly slow 1-2 shift (botched synchros). I have no problems with mine.
