Granatelli Motor Sports sell the exact same system, they have an installation video on their website. watch the video install followed by a sound clip with drive-by. Very informative. NXT-STP I belive sells them a bit cheaper than GMS.
we were gonna order form granatelli but they wouldnt budge on the price and they pulled this the ebay version isnt the same etc which in fact it is, so ebay i went.

Joe Granatelli told me the same thing, so I got mine from him. I paid $50.00 more. They are exactly the same ,right down to the box and labeling on the package it comes in. I think NXT-Stp is the supplier to many others.

he got real pissy when i told him flat out ebay 550 shipped he can match it or ill go elsewhere and went on a rant about how the ebay one is garbage and will rust out, regardless he had lost me as a customer at that point

How can he say it's "garbage" when it's the EXACT SAME SYSTEM.
I agree. When I asked if he could do any better on the price he was like shocked that I had asked I mentioned CF and all that good stuff. Basically was looking for him to match the NXT price or get damn near close. Hopefully it shows up friday or early next week then over to my buddys shop to toss it on and tac it in place as ive heard the clamps are eh
This is a very nice system looks and sound but too many pieces to get exhaust leaks from!
Think whatever you want, there are more pieces that is true but that is why it is easier to install with a set of ramps or jackstands. You don't have to get the rear end of your car 4 feet in the air to do the work. I installed mine in my garage with just a set of Rhino ramps. The extra pieces also make the tip alignment simple and easier. Even with the clamps that everybody complains about, after 3months I don't have any leaks. The only thing bad about this system is the cheap clamps. But for $600/$700 difference in price I'll take a chance on the clamps. I did break 1 clamp and had to run in to the local Advance store for a new one. I've gotten many compliments on this exhaust for sound and fit, and when my friends hear the price they just look at their Corsa or Borla's and just shake their heads
i liked that it was multiple piece i found it was easier to line everything up and not a single leak, after the clamps it came with royally pissed me off i got basic 2 dollar clamps at autozone
id buy it again in a second, it sounds great. i keep hearing it will get louder in a few weeks i cant wait
The multi-piece configuration is a non-issue. I have put a lot of aftermarket C5 exhaust systems in and this one was as good, if not better, than the pricier systems. The only other system I've seen that out-classed the NXT is the MagnaFlow system I first installed on my M6 several years ago and that cost over twice as much. Quality-wise, the NXT is at least as good as the Borla Stingers I had (which, incidentally, I had to return for a replacement due to a manufacturing defect that caused tip misalignment not possible in the NXT due to the seperate tip sections) and, subjectively, I'd say it's better in that the tips are nicer and the welds better.
Say what you like without first-hand experience with these - so far, I am sold. I'm seriously thinking about a second set for my M6.
