I have an old house rehab project I'm doing by myself. God a deal on some slightly used 5ft chain link fence,6 rolls. Took a heavy tow chain and used a come along to pull them into a tight bundle and locked with a heavy master lock. big heavy awkward 3 to 4hundres pound lump! OK for a while ,then the other night it disappeared chain lock and all! It had to be a group and then it had to be a struggle. If thieves worked half as hard on a job they'd make a good living and wouldn't be out stealing,,,they'd be complaining about the lousy thiefs stealing stuff from them!! Lousy low lifes!!

, the good thing is, it's the last thing they steal. Sorry for your loss, as Uncle Fester would say, "Shoot 'um in the back!" Just sounds like a thief that knew what was already in the truck.

Sorry for your bad luck.
Years ago, before hoods had locks, some dirtbag stole a battery out
of my '62 Chevy. When I was getting a replacement, the guy asked
why I didn't bring the car in?
I said someone stole the battery and I couldn't figure out why someone
would steal an old battery.
He said it's because they know you'll have to get a new one and they'll
come back for that one too.
So that night I put a chain & lock on the hood and sure enough, about
a week later I came out and found hood popped up and battery still
in place.
Keep an eye out for return thieves.
Also just an FYI and a few questions. was it recently installed and/or did you have your vehicle in a shop for any repairs, installs, etc?
Anyway, if your vehicle does have keypads on the exterior, do NOT leave your codes in the glove box or where ever some one other than you has access to them, as anyone can view them when your not looking.
Also install an auto alarm if you do not feel comfortable leaving it out in the open.
