Too much gang violence to be waving at cars these days.The wave can be mistaken for gang signs and then your being shot at.Just easier to keep both hands on the steering wheel,saves damage to your car and your life!

I've been riding a Harley Davidson for years. Harley owners wave to other Harley owners and sometimes/mosttimes to other bikes.

Now that I have a C5 vert it's funny., on the Harley I wave to Harley owners and to Vette owners, and visa versa when in the Vette.

I get some confused looks, but s not surprisingly most all wave back.. Go figure!

There a fair number of C5 owners that won't wave to a lowly C4 just like there are C6 owners that won't wave to a lowly C5.

If it's a Corvette I wave.

I think some of the C6 guys had sold their C5's to get the C6 and are having second thoughts.

As said before, there are a lot of things going on today that have greater significance. The wave is not one of them. I could care less if my wave is returned. I will keep it going anyway.

Toe stepping time. Had a female in a C6 wave yesterday morning. I waved back. Was surprised as a lot of C6 owners do not wave and the majority of female drivers (any generation of car) do not wave. YMMV
