Yup they sure do. Especially those darn guys who only track and race their vettes. They should be banned.

I think the main reason is they are affordable. I mean 1k for one wheel is kind of a lot. If its just going to be a show car I would spent that in hopes to win a show. I don't think wheels are the only thing that makes a car different. Sure A lot of ppl have CCWs, but they are nice wheels. I couldnt buy wheels that is almost worth more than a C5 lol

I looked at some Fiske,Forgeline and HRE, HREs had some nice looking wheels but CCW wheels really look nice.

And if your out the CCW, please I beg you, we want some new style wheels

If you don't understand performance driving, your opinion on performance parts means little to me.

The fact that you don't consider wheels a performance part further proves my point.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

I did not know Black wheels were faster. That's probably why all the NASCAR guys use them

I will be getting rid of my 505a's in the next few months, so if anyone is interested, let me know. I want some black C140s 19 x 12 rear, 18 x 10 front.

I agree with all of the positive posts here. Price, Quality product etc etc..killer looking wheels.

What makes a HUGE difference to me with CCW is also their Customer Service. Try getting the same customer service from the other giant wheel manufacturers like Iforge,HRE,fiske etc.. CCW hands down has top-notch service over the others. That is what you get with a smaller company. They understand customer loyalty, repeat business, and just plain good ol word-of mouth. That is why you see so many positive posts here on the forum, and that is why so many here rave about them (again in addition to great looking quality wheels for great price)

To the OP of this thread, as far as being "different" CCW offers many different wheel designs, tire packages, offsets etc etc.

You will see alot of the 505A design, that just happens to be a popular choice here with Vette owners
Go to their website and you'll see the different designs.

Not a fan of wheels that are entirely Chrome. I did some price comparisons and honestly if you can afford $2,800 for a set, one more grand will not break you. The CCWs are nice, but the styling looks a little bland for the price. Plus I would never pay almost as much for a better-looking 3-piece wheel. Not knocking you guys with the CCWs, as they are good, but just as far as spending that kind of money I would save up another grand and get something better. Hope that doesn't offend anyone with the wheels as I am still rolling stock LOL.

Maybe 5% of the vettes I see have non-stock wheels so to think you are not original is a little strange to me. There are only so many choices out there. I loved them in the pics and once I saw the SP500s in person that was it. I had to have them.

Thats true but at the same time that might be the budget for most. You got to factor in tires to lol. 4.5k for the wheels then another grand for tires. Then shipping. Like everyone has said its the price. The look and quality for the price is unbeatable. Yea im sure if someone is gonna show the car then I can justify the other wheels. But to be driven and have the chance of damaging the rims that price is kind of high. Unless your a baller, but if you were a ballin like that you wouldn't be driving a C5. lol

LOL I am no baller for sure, I am going with regular ole knock off ZO6 wheels myself. That's a good point with tires also. Like I said, they are great looking and performing wheels, just in my case, if I were going to be spending that kind of money for wheels, then I would just save for another month and get something else. CCWs are great. Just all of them are entirely chrome and don't really add the variety I would be looking for. Nothing against them at all.

Actually, not a single one of them is chrome.

You can have them chromed though.
