Default Wet Vette

My Vette got wet for the first time today in 7 years, with the exception of that time I washed it! That's what I get for backing it out of the garage on a cloudy day.

You had better make sure none of it has melted anywhere.

That's terrible. You'd better call the insurance company and have them come look at the damage. Corvette body panels are made form SMPM (sheet molded paper mache) and if they are exposed to moisture they disintegrate. It may already be beyond repair.

So sorry.

Did you actual drive it in the rain? How did you ever remember how to turn on the windshield wipers?

Mine has been a daily driver for the almost 6 years I've had it. Works great in all weather conditions we get in South GA.

When i went to look at the verte that i own , it was drizzling, the owner would not take vette out in the rain, i found that odd, but now i have noticed it , me myself doing it, but i now take it out in the rain, she still looks pretty, dirty though but still pretty

I know how you feel. I just bought my C5 a few days ago. It was raining the last few days...and I havn't driven it. But I know that eventually I will drive it sunshine or rain...it's just too much fun to miss (especially since it rains all winter here in Vancouver).
