Wow.....I'm literally speechless. I read your original post and could only utter out "Oh my god." I can't believe that this is the level that people have come to. I wish you all the luck in catching the sorry SOB's that did that.

No cameras in this area. I HAVE thought long and hard on if I pissed anyone off. I don't think so. If it was a patient they would not know what I drive.

Maybe you could talk to hospital about putting camera's in, even if you have to chip in.

that stinks. A year ago at the company where I work at somebody tore off the front bumper corver to my stang, and they have so many securty cameras. They never found out who did it, so I ended up paying for the repairs myself. About six months before that, they keyed the whole quarter pannel, and they told me the same old story. I hope you get things straightened out because i can only immagine how mad and pissed you are. I've been there too.

I am betting it was someone who may or may not "know" you, but who has had some encounter with you or your car previously. It was also more than "one" person most likely (unless an x-wife/GF) - people that do these things generally don't do them without an audience. They also were most likely nearby during your extinguishing ceremony - again anyone who does something like this wants to see the results of their masterpiece! If it were a random occurrence there most likely would be another car involved in the area that night and they probably would not have used up more than one flare on your car since one would generally be enough to finish one car. I am also guessing that the offending parties were probably younger (or brain-dead adults) since most people with half a brain would realize that this would not only land them in jail big-time, but could damage surrounding property or even kill someone as a result.

Of course, it "could" be someone that just did not like your looks or hates Corvettes, etc., but even then it would have to be a rare combination of just happening to have multiple road flares on hand and picking out "your" car - not very likely.

If no other cars were reported vandalized in the vicinity using the same MO during the surrounding time frame - I would say you can bet you were targeted.
