Thanks Gene, got a text message about 5 min ago from a homeboy. Awesome
This is OT but any chance that Destrehan would ever play John Curtis?? THAT would be quite a game, IMHO!!! Curtis is ranked #20 in the latest ESPN national poll while Destrehan is at #51.

If you notice they are both from maryland and i am assuming from the fact that Flatout is a nice guy on the forum, and a vendor, he is prob joking....could be wrong tho...
o and the fact Flatout is the pres of ESV...but could still be wrong
All signs point too obvious...I was a good day, thanks
JB - U guys have too much fun ( is that possible?? ) doing your mods. BTW - R U running LPE mini-tubs? Just wondering about how having those is gonna work w/that damn hole that Pfadt shows on their website! The site mentions drilling it roughly 7" from the stock ( I assume ) fender well so how much ( if any ) does having the LPE's change this measurement? I guess the best thing for me to do is buy then install the Pfadt's THEN work on the sub enclosure. Problem with that is that cash flow sux right now & it's not in my budget to splurge on the coilovers now. Heck, my car hasn't been on the road for so long what's a few more months??

No mini tubs Gene, just the L5 Fender Flares..We do have alot of fun...30 and 40 yr old kids..
I didn't think the word "budget" existed in the Corvette vocabulary!! Sorry but I'd forgotten that U went outboard w/the L5 flares instead of inward like I did w/the LPE's. Reckon that's why I can BARELY fit a 12" CCW 505A back there while U have room for your 12.5" ( & probably more!! ).
BTW - I just turned 50 last month so am I too old to play with ya'll???

If its not in the budget, dont do it
Hey John....I got there just as they were just finishing the rear (of the car not Joe). Anyway, I don't remember the holes in the trunk being mentioned when I asked about the rear install. The holes only look like they would benefit someone who will be changing the damper setting often and want to be able to do it quickly.

I'm kinda thinking the same thing, Wayne, but I'm also afraid that if I DON'T leave a provision to access the dampening mechanism I might be giving up some of the advantages of the Pfadt's. For example, wouldn't ya want to soften the rears to allow for some better weight transfer when U're going down the 1/4 mile? Guess I can wait for JB to get down here to Cajunland for a ride in his beast.
BTW - LOVE your C3!!!

If I had a car that I was taking to track often, I would definitely drill the holes!! (Especially a car that I was driving to the track).
Thanks.....the 68 is a blast to drive. I hope to take it to the track as soon as the engine gets broken in.
