Default Rotor question

Getting ready to upgrade to drilled and/or slotted rotors. I autocross once or twice a year, no drag strip racing; normally just cruises with the club. Need opinions on what is the best brand/deal for rotors? I want cryo'd and nickel/cadium plated, but unsure of brand or whether to go with just slotted or drilled/slotted. Don't want to open pandora's box, but wanted some user input. thanks in advance.

I just ordered these from rotorpros.com. Not had them fitted yet so I dont know how they handle on the car.

I tried to order from Bsibrakes but they didn't deliver the goods. A number of Forum members have had problems with that Company. You may want to steer clear.

If you go slotted only, you should check out POWERSLOTS

I got mine from Sport Brakes in Dallas but I understand they don't have them in stock any longer.

Go with slotted. They still look cool but don't crack like 99% of the drilled ones do.

I use Wilwood calipers and rotors for racing at the track. I never ran autoX, so I can't help you with that selection.

If you do any kind of performance driving, do not get drilled rotors.

Peace

Chuck Cow installed the Baer Eradspd kit on my C5. Its the 2 pc 13" fronts and 2 pc 14" rears. Came with special brackets, Hawk pads, S.S. brakes lines and Chuck painted my calipers in red epoxy. Not only do they work GREAT, they look super with my polished thin spokes.
I get lots of comments on them even from people that dont know a lot about cars. They have been on for several months now and absolutely no problems. Of course the work from C.O.W. is second to none!

I got the drilled and slotted rotors because they look very good. I don't do anything but normal cruises so they work fine for me. I was one of the lucky ones to get their brakes from BSI before they couldn't fill their orders.
